Breaking: Kubernetes v1.36 Released with 70 Enhancements
The Kubernetes project today announced the release of v1.36, codenamed 'Haru', featuring 70 enhancements. Of these, 18 have graduated to Stable, 25 are entering Beta, and 25 are introduced as Alpha. Several deprecations and removals are also included in this release.

Release Theme: Haru (春)
The release is named ハル (Haru), a Japanese word carrying dual meanings: spring (春), clear skies (晴れ), and far-off horizon (遥か). The logo, created by Natsuho Ide (avocadoneko), reimagines Katsushika Hokusai's Fine Wind, Clear Morning (also known as Red Fuji) from his Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji series.
"The design symbolizes release v1.36's spirit of exploration and community guardianship," said Ide. The logo features two cats, Stella and Nacho, wearing Kubernetes helms, representing the collaborative guard of SIGs, maintainers, and contributors.

Kubernetes is the leading open-source platform for container orchestration. The project releases three minor versions per year. Each release follows a strict development cycle, with features graduating from alpha to beta to stable. This ensures production reliability while fostering innovation.
